Founded in 1983, Mabarex Inc. is a Canadian based company specializing in the design and fabrication of equipment intended for water, wastewater and sludge treatment processes.

Our team incorporates engineers, technicians, chemists and microbiologists in related specialties.

Mabarex offers state-of-the-art products featuring the most efficient processes to date such as the Oxy-Rex^TM iron and manganese treatment system.

We participated in many “turn-key” projects and worked with consulting engineers and contractors both locally and internationally In addition Mabarex has been involved with the supply and installation of the world's largest SBR (Sequential Batch Reactor) and many other wastewater treatment systems, especially in the food and pulp & paper industries.

Mabarex has developed several products worth mentioning such as the very reliable and rugged Cat-Rex^TM automatic catenary bar screen, the Rotoflo^TM curved bar screen, the Vistex^TM degritter and the Spi-Rex^TM conveyor.

Our screenings compactors and grit screws are used in the headworks of many treatment facilities.

In the past ten years the sludge treatment and handling has become the most significant focus of our company. Currently we offer equipment for sludge thickening, anaerobic digestion, de-watering and lime stabilisation.

Our most efficient Big Bubble Gun Mixer^TM with its unique Accu-Bubble Control^TM is a perfect fit to our own Ad-Pak^TM anaerobic digester systems. The current Big Bubble Gun Mixer^TM is an improved version of an older mixer design used in over 300 digesters.

Very large and demanding sludge handling systems have been designed by our engineers and we offer our expertise in this field together with incomparable centerless Spi-Rex^TM conveyors.

Over the years, Mabarex has provided technical assistance and expertise to more than 500 companies, among others: Abitibi Paper, Alcan Aluminum, Alcoa, Domtar, Kruger Paper, Georgia Pacific, General Motors, Petro-Canada, Shell, Cargill, Groupe Lactel, McCain and many cities worldwide.
